Project Overview

MyClubFunder is a UK‑platform that helps community clubs, charities, and good causes to raise funds online—through ticket sales, prize draws, campaigns etc., with no setup fees and secure processing.

This project was to create an animated explainer video that guides potential users through how the site/app works: how to set up a profile, start a fundraising campaign, manage ticket/prize draw settings, and generally how to navigate the platform. The aim was to make the process look intuitive, trustworthy, and to encourage more clubs/causes to sign up and use the service.

My Role

I was involved in every stage:

Concept & Creative Development: I came up with metaphors, visual style, pacing, and the structure of how to present the flow of user actions (sign‑up → campaign creation → supporter interaction → payout etc.).

Storyboarding: I translated ideas into visual storyboards to map out each key scene — showing how the interface, the features, and user journey should appear.

Motion Graphics & Animation: I designed and animated the graphics: user interface mock‑ups, transitions, iconography, text, layout, all of it, ensuring consistency with MyClubFunder branding, clarity of information, and visual appeal.

Final Solution

The explainer version made it much easier for new users (clubs, groups) to understand exactly what they needed to do to use the platform, which reduced friction in onboarding.

By making the video visually clean and professionally animated, the video raised MyClubFunder’s perceived credibility: it helped reinforce trust (important when dealing with payments, fundraising etc.).

The visual clarity likely reduced support queries and improved user satisfaction, as fewer people were confused about how to start campaigns or manage settings.

Internally, it became a resource used in presentations, onboarding, and outreach, helping to drive adoption among clubs that might otherwise be hesitant.
